I am co-hosting an intimate, in-person gathering with my sister Bek and fellow Projector pal Akimera to cocoon under the Winter Solstice this Sunday 22 June from 1-4pm in Footscray.

Both the benefic planets - Venus and Jupiter - are in signs where they are well-resourced to do their thing, despite some tension. Venus - planet of connection and beauty - is back at home in Taurus, inviting a slow, sensual way of relating to ourselves and our surrounds; meanwhile Jupiter - planet of wisdom and coherence - is now in Cancer, invoking an expansion of the ways we care for our emotional life, how we feel belonging within and without.

We will be exploring what it looks like to slowly attune to our senses that signal safety, to let in nourishment a little more, to welcome more of what our bodies are enjoying in the moment.

We will open with a circle to reflect on the cosmic weather, and move into a somatic meditation attuning to the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter, welcoming a felt sense of serenity, softness, enjoyment and expansion within our embodied experience.

Bek will be guiding us to co-create moss-scapes, playing with moss, mushrooms and flowers growing in the cold of winter to build a soft sculptural altar of beauty. Akimera will lead us through a practice of tapping, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), a somatic healing modality involving tapping on meridian points to process emotions and soothe our nervous system.

The Moon will be in Taurus too, feeling extra luscious and conjoining Venus during the afternoon. Come move at the pace of you, and drink in the delights of the moment so you can feel replenished to create more of what you wish to witness in your life and the world we are nourishing into being together.
