It’s spring here. The days are getting brighter, the sun is out more days than not. It’s been a shaky eclipse season for many.

How did you experience yours?

I have been shying away from social media the past month, as if shielding from something, re-negotiating my relationship with pressure, judgment, perception, devastation.

Since I learned more about the nature of eclipses, I’ve held this fear around starting things during eclipses. Perhaps it says more about my fear around the unknown, the illusion of what I cannot control, or what I’m afraid will finally end.

A few days after the lunar eclipse in Pisces, after days in bed recovering from a cold and watching more episodes of K-dramas than I would like to admit, I went for a walk up north, then came home and wrote about my evening.

So I inadvertently started something in eclipse season, without intending to. I’m not sure what it all means yet, apart from the fact that I’m carving a space for myself in a quiet corner of the interwebs to share my reflections, anecdotes and inspirations on living a mundane, magical life.

This past week I’ve been talking synchronous numbers with my neighbour who’s moving out and my masseuse who could secretly be a monk.
